Our next fundraising event will be The Summer Fayre! It is to be held at school on Thursday 13th July from 3.00pm until 5.30pm. We are hoping to have the event outside, weather permitting! All money raised at the Summer Fayre will be shared with the following charities;
- Kidney Research UK
- Tukongate Primary School in Zambia (Miss Mannering, one of our teaching assistants, is heading to this school during the Summer Holidays to work and support in their Pre-School; money raised will help fund school supplies)
If you have items we can sell on our Bric-a-Brac stall or use as Raffle Prizes, please give them to class teachers.
Through two Own Clothes Days in March we raised £356 in donations! We have split these funds between Brain tumour Research & The Brain Tumour Charity; as suggested by Callum, one of our year 5 children, who is bravely receiving treatment for a brain tumour.

In January we raised £40.00 for the Starlight Charity through donation of your unwanted clothes. Starlight’s aim is granting wishes to seriously and terminally ill children and entertaining over half a million children every year in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. Look out for more clothes bags coming home with your child over the next term.
On Friday 9th December we held a Christmas Jumper and Slippers Own Clothes Day. Through donations of 50p per child or £1 per family we raised £118.00 for the Shelter charity. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness. Thank you for your kind donations.
We had an ‘Own Clothes Spotacular’ for Children in Need on Friday 18th November. Children came to school dressed in their spottiest clothes! Through donations, we raised £131 for the charity. Thank you so much for all of your support.
We had an Own Clothes Day on Friday 14th October to raise funds for the Northern Lights Charity. This children’s charity takes children with life limiting illness from the North West of England on ‘holidays of a lifetime’ to meet Father Christmas in Lapland. It costs about £1600 for each child and it is 2235 miles from their base in Neston to Lapland. On the day we raised £115.00 for the charity.
On Friday 30th September we held a Coffee Morning for parents and staff in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Thanks to your donations and support we raised £165.14 for the charity through the sale of cakes and biscuits!
Keep checking back to see our next fundraising event!
Last year our school raised a HUGE £2428.50 for the charities below! Thank you all so much for your kind donations.
