Events

Wolverham Primary School do many things that go unnoticed, so we thought it would be nice to have a section on our website that shows a few things that we have done.  Please click the blue titles below for more details (opens our whole school blog page).

  • Election time
    Today we held a whole school election to find out who our new team captains and vice captains were going to be. Year 6 candidates had written speeches which they delivered to an attentive audience! All the children they took part in a ballot and we talked about the importance of democracy  within our society.
  • Sports Day - KS1 and KS2
    The whole school took part in sports day this week. A huge amount of effort was put in by the teachers and staff to make it a success! A special mention goes to year 6 as they did a wonderful job collecting all the children for the races. There was also a wonderful turn out from parents and carers. Well done to all involved!
  • Year 4 assembly
    Year 4 presented a super assembly on Friday and told the rest of KS2 all about their amazing trip to Conway. Well done to all of the star of the week winners and Sian for winning the for courtesy cup!
  • Rhema Theatre Company visited Wolverham!
    We had a huge treat today! The Rhema Theatre Company came in to tell us about the Easter Story. We really enjoyed the magic tricks! 
  • Scouts Assembly ⚽️🎾🚴🏻🎣🏔🏞
    Rob Smith joined us in an assembly to share information about the local scout groups. The children enjoyed hearing about how both boys and girls could join the local scouts group. All the children particularly enjoyed singing a new scout song!  

Year 5 & 6 Condover Residential – Year 5 & 6 had a super time away at Condover this week.  All the children behaved well and learnt lots of new skills.  Check out the class blogs for more pics and information.

School Disco – Children across the school had a great time Tuesday after school as we held our Wolverham Primary School Disco.  The Friends of Wolverham helped organise the event and we are very thankful for the help and support.
