Friends of Wolverham is a group of parents who meet regularly to discuss fundraising ideas for the school year. These include: own clothes days, Christmas Fayre, Autumn Disco, Summer Fayre, cake sales, fun days and much more!
Almost all of the school came to show off their dance moves at the last school disco! Prizes were given to the best dancer from each Key Stage. All of the children enjoyed the Fun Day to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday; particularly the visit from the Ice Cream Man! Money raisied at these events either goes into school funds to provide extra trips and treats for our children or to a nominated charity suggested by parents. So far the Friends of Wolverham have raised money for:
- CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association) Charity
- Aintree Hospital Neurological Dept .
- Age UK
- Reverse Rett Syndrome.
The next event that the Friends of Wolverham are organising is a Summer Fayre on Thursday 13th July from 3.00pm until 5.30pm. All parents, carers and friends are more than welcome to attend!
More details will be sent out as we get nearer to the date.
